*Background:*
Dr. Michelle Munro-Kramer, PhD, CNM, FNP-BC is an Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan School of Nursing. Her program of research focuses on gender based violence, particularly sexual violence, and reproductive health. She is interested in the primary prevention of violence as well as comprehensive care of vulnerable populations within domestic and international contexts. Her research projects approach these topics using a trauma-informed and patient-centered lens. She has conducted fieldwork in Liberia, Ghana, Ethiopia, and Zambia. She is currently working on a gender based violence prevention program on university campuses in Ghana. She is also in the process of adapting a web-based application to address healthy relationships and sexual violence on university.
