Upgrading of Specialized Post Basic Health Programmes to Bachelor of Science Degree


I hereby write to inform you that the Health Training Institutions Secretariat under the Ministry of Health and through the supervision of University of Cape Coast has upgraded the underlisted Post Basic Programmes for the award of Bachelor of Science Degree accordingly :

1. Perioperative Nursing  (Bsc) - Korle Bu, Greater Accra
2. Critical Care Nursing (BSc) -    Korle Bu, Greater Accra
3. Ear, Nose and Throat (Bsc)  -            Kumasi,  Ashanti region
4. Ophthalmic Nursing(Bsc)   -            Korle Bu, Greater Accra
5. Physician Assistant Psychiatry(Bsc) - Kimtempo
6. Physician Assistant General (Bsc)  - 
7. Public Health Nursing(BSc)  -   Korle Bu, Greater Accra

I would be grateful if this is communicated to all regional Directors  of Health Services.
