Changes to Canadian CPNRE Examination from 2016
« on: December 01, 2015, 04:40:58 PM »
The Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination (CPNRE) is changing in 2016.

Beginning in May 2016, the CPNRE will no longer be a paper-based exam. Applicants who take the CPNRE will answer questions directly on a computer screen in an approved testing centre.

The exam itself will stay the same. The CPNRE will continue to cover the same RPN entry-to-practice competencies as before, and it will continue to consist of the same type of multiple-choice questions as the paper-based exam.

The College will provide updated information about the new, computer-based CPNRE as it becomes available at www.cno.org/cpnre
